The CMS college, which I am studying my undergraduate courseThe CMS college, which I am studying my undergraduate course, is the oldest college in the state of Kerala. Established by the Church of South Indian missionaries, it is one of the colleges at that time in the country which could boast of versatility of education imparted by the college. It is also blessed with a vast campus peaceful atmosphere all around, thanks to the diversity of shade-trees planted very planned and the structure of each building.

If so long was the overall picture and some history of the college, now the life of students studying in the college have to be talked. Due to frequent film shootings and programmes, the college would be usually in fame. So as the students too. One of the black side I saw with the college is that it let the student politics to go uncontrolled, especially during 1990s. This situation was clearly portrayed in the malayalam film called Classmates.
But now as a corrective measure, present principal banned politics and elections on the lines of politics. We now feeling that politics, in a controlled manner, will be better for the overall development of a student. But not aggressive politics, but a constructive one.

So we are hoping for the best to come.

About myself and my land

May I introduce myself?, I am Libin Francis. I am from Kerala, the God's own country, blessed with serene nature, pleasant comfortable climate and a well literate state.  If exactly speaking, it is kottayam where I am living. No one may see offensive if I praise my land kottayam a little ( I think so ) .Kottayam, 'the land of letters',  is the first 100% literate town in the country (who can argue if it's not even in the whole earth! ).The real triumph is that we have acheived it before I have born, that is even before 1991. Exactly it was on 1989 (Remember even today not many have achieved it ).

Kottayam is the land which is abundent of rain and so the rubber trees are growing in plenty. Keep in mind the price of rubber today (Rs.150 /kg ). Then how easily than this that one can think of the reasons for the wealth and standard of living in Kottayam.

I think it's enough for Kottayam. One thing I like to add at this occasion is that I value the spirit of being a patriotic citizen of the India than of boasting to be that I am from Kerala or Kottayam. Moreover, I love all the belongings of my country as it is of mine too.
